… the lights of the sky

are you still hesitating who’s who?
the pace of water and the cycle of fertility are run by the moon
while the sun is the source of life.

among the many great civilisations,
the teotihuacan in today’s mexico also defined
the first light of skies as the female
and the second as the male

in their city,
the temple of the moon was located at the northern end of the main avenue,
while the temple of the sun stood east
at a much less central place surely,
yet, of remarkable greater size.

a symbolic implication by the teotihuacan very profound,
because the moon is only that bright by the reflection of the sun
but without the moon the sun is lost in balance, right?
